Lakeside Resort & Conference Center Houghton Lake, Houghton Lake

I had a mixed experience at this resort. The staff was exceptionally accommodating, and the views of the lake were stunning. However, there were several service issues and noise disturbances that significantly affected my stay. Overall, it has potential but needs improvement in several areas.

This resort spa has a lovely atmosphere and offers amazing views, especially from the executive suite. The rooms are quite clean, and the housekeeping service, particularly from Nikki, was exceptional. However, the pool area leaves much to be desired due to maintenance issues, and there were minor repairs needed in the room. Overall, it's a relaxing getaway, but expect some areas to need improvement.

Our stay at the waterpark hotel was quite disappointing. The pool area was dirty, and the state of the rooms left much to be desired. On the bright side, the lazy river was enjoyable for my child, providing some fun amidst the flaws. Overall, the hotel needs substantial cleaning and maintenance to be worth the stay.
